Quality starts with what goes into the product. We build with commercial-grade components and materials - heavy-duty frames and mechanisms, commercial gas lifts and castors, robust edging, and upholstery fabrics rated for high-traffic commercial use. The result is furniture engineered to perform well beyond the demands of a domestic setting.

Independent testing

Key products in our range are independently tested to recognised commercial furniture standards for strength, stability, durability and safety. Independent testing means the performance is verified by a qualified third party - not simply asserted by the manufacturer.

Our certifications explained

• AFRDI (Australasian Furnishing Research and Development Institute) - an independent, not-for-profit body that tests furniture against rigorous Australian and international standards. AFRDI certification, including its “Blue Tick” program, covers strength, stability, durability and safety for commercial use.
• BIFMA - the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association sets internationally recognised performance, safety and durability standards for commercial furniture.
• Australian Made - certifies that a product is genuinely designed and manufactured in Australia, giving buyers confidence in its origin.

Certification levels vary by product. We are happy to confirm the specific standards and test reports that apply to any item in our range.

Quality assurance in our factory

Because we manufacture in-house, quality is controlled at every stage rather than inspected only on arrival. Materials and components are checked on receipt, builds are inspected through fabrication and assembly, and finished products are quality-checked before dispatch.
